Monday Musings #40

Monday Musings is a post in which I talk about my writing goals for the upcoming week, and the progress I made on my goals for the past week.

Here’s my list of goals for last week. The goals scratched through are the ones I accomplished.

• Write one short story for #AShortStoryAWeek.
• Edit short story I finished writing last week.
• Write 13k words in #JanuaryWIP, until I end up with 30k words total.
• Make a cover for Blood So Pure, my upcoming serial.
• Work on the cover reveal for Sally Sleuth and The Missing Mice for on January 12.
• Prepare ARC copies of Sally Sleuth and The Missing Mice.
• Set up a book tour for Sally Sleuth and The Missing Mice.
• Set up a release blitz for Sally Sleuth and The Missing Mice on January 30.
• Edit three chapters in Allegro Academy #1.
• Make small banners for my chapter book series and the Angel of Death Series for on homepage.

I didn’t do too well. However, I have a good reason for that. An emergency with a friend happened on Wednesday and it threw my plans out of the loop.

I did finish some goals that weren’t in this list. Check out the fancy new email subscription box in the sidebar for my monthly newsletter, and below that, you can now sign up to receive a new episode of The Chronicles of Blood every week in your inbox, starting on February 1. I also dealt with the behind-the-scenes work (setting up the newsletter and stuff) for that.

And Chronicles of Blood has a cover, as you can see. I haven’t done an official cover reveal yet, but I plan to do one soon. It also has its own page now.

I’m going to try to do better this week, but it’ll be a rather busy week, so I’m not sure how much progress I’ll actually be able to make.
