Netflix is in Belgium + my TV schedule this Fall

nOIsa7G6You may or may not know that I live in Belgium, which means that that up until this morning, I couldn’t have a Netflix account because it was limited to the USA, the UK, etc. But this morning Netflix decided to open up the doors for Belgian residents too – so now we have Netflix! I’m about as excited about a new season of Copper (which is a great series and should’ve never been cancelled).

I already checked what series we can watch in Belgium, and it’s quite impressive. We have the Netflix originals, like Penny Dreadful – one of my favorite new series, Orange is the new Black, Hemlock Grove, House of Cards, and so on. There’s tons of movies, including the original 1980s (I think, do correct me if I’m wrong) version of The House on Haunted Hill, which I’ve wanted to watch since forever. And then there are amazing series like Downtown Abbey, Twin Peaks, Fringe, Lost, Teen Wolf, The Big Bang Theory, and more.

I’m thrilled about this. First series I’m going to watch will be Downtown Abbey. I’ve been dying to watch that series for years. Woohoo!

On a similar note, I figured out what series I’m going to watch this Fall. With the new TV schedule coming up, and my favorite series starting new seasons, it’s always a bit of planning to make sure I don’t miss any episodes. So here is my fall schedule (subject to change):

Sunday

Once Upon A Time: The previous season wasn’t as good as I’d hoped, and I don’t like Henry at all, but hey…this time they’re introducing Elsa from Frozen, so that’s a more than sufficient reason to watch! – premies on September 28

Revenge: I still have to catch up (just finished watching the second season), but once I’ll catch up, I’ll certainly watch this on Sunday night. – new season premieres on September 28

Monday

Gotham: This is an absolute must on my to-watch list. This is the series I’m looking forward to the most this fall. – premieres on September 22

Sleepy Hollow: I loved the last season, and the originality behind this series is amazing, so I’m looking forward to seeing how it Ichabod Crane manages to fight the powers of darkness in this second season – premieres on September 22

The Big Bang Theory: I don’t know about you, but I need my doze of nerdy laughter every week. – premieres on September 22

The Originals: This series beat The Vampire Diaries as my favorite last year, so I have high hopes for the next season – premieres on October 6

Tuesday

Supernatural: After ten seasons, I’m not about to give up on this one yet. Plus, Dean as a demon sounds awesome. – premieres on October 7

The Flash: Since this is an Arrow spin-off, I’m willing to give it a shot, although I’ve never been a great fan of The Flash. – premieres on October 7

Wednesday

Criminal Minds: I’ve been following this series since the start. More crimes to solve, yay! – premieres on October 1

Arrow: Just about the best superhero show on TV at this moment. – third season premieres on October 8

The 100: Bellamy and Clarke, Bellamy and Clarke, Bellamy…Okay, okay, I’m a fangirl, what can I say? – second season premieres on October 22

Thursday

Reign: Probably the most hilarious series ever in terms of historical accuracy, but heck, I love the drama and suspense! – second season premieres on October 2

The Vampire Diaries: Last season was a dissapointment, but as long as there’s Damon, I’ll keep on watching. – premieres on October 2

Elementary: Sherlock! I love his accent, and the riddles, and trying to solve the crimes. I hope Moriarty makes a reappearance though. – premieres on October 30

Friday

Constantine: Demons, fighting demons, what more do you want? Looking forward to this series. – premieres on October 24

If you want an easy way to keep track of TV shows and premieres, I recommend EpisodeCalendar. It’s free and easy to use, and it’s what I use.
