Weekend Writing Warriors (3)

wewriwa_square_4

It’s time for another Weekend Writing Warriors meme. Today I’m going to share an excerpt from Andante (Allegro Academy  #2; a YA paranormal mystery. Here’s my sentences for this week:

“You could at least try. Don’t give up yet.” He looks at me, his eyes almost hopeful. “We’ll beat Diane at her own game.”

I raise an eyebrow when I watch him disappear. At first, he becomes more see-through and less solid. Then he starts fading away, until there’s nothing left.

“I doubt that, George,” I whisper to the empty room. “I think Diane has a lot more games left to play.”

Hope you liked those! Please leave a link to your post so I can check out your excerpt as well!

Interesting. She’s not going to ever know when she’s being watched is she?
