Author Interviews

Author Interview with Aan Frazier

I’m glad to host an interview with author Aan Frazier today, the author of non-fiction book Your Magnetic Mind.

The Interview

What inspired you to write “Your Magnetic Mind”?

My curiosity of the Law ofAttraction led to look into it. This curiosity soon turned into a passion and desire to teach others how to achieve their goals. Although there are plenty of books on the Law of Attraction, there aren’t very many that are written simply and clearly. Another source of motivation came from my fifth grade teacher. He inspired me by predicting that I would become an author one day. I’ve always loved to write and publishing “Your Magnetic Mind” is actually a dream come.

Writing non-fiction probably takes a lot of research. How did you start with your research, and what method did you use?

I started out by reading books about the Law of Attraction. I’ve also seen the movie called “The Secret.” Most of my research has been through reading, observation, and reflecting. In addition, I have practiced putting the Law of Attraction to work for myself and have experienced results. For example, I was able to attract the money I needed to take my children on an expensive zoo outing one summer.

If you have any advice for people who also want to write non-fiction, what would it be?

To write about what you love and are passionate about. It is so fun and rewarding to learn and grow in an area of knowledge that you have a great interest in. For me, learning about the Law of Attraction was very interesting and useful for my life at the same time.

What goal do you hope to achieve with your book, and toward the people who read it?

My goal is to reach out to people of many ages and to inspire them to accomplish their goals and dreams. I want them to realize that they have more power and say in their futures than they ever imagined possible. At the very least, I just want people experience a good read.

What is your writing schedule like? Do you write every day, or only a few days a week?

I am actually a full time teacher and mom, so writing is more of a hobby to me. I write a few days a week and I usually do it at night after everyone goes to bed (including my husband). I put “Opus Lantern Books” for a reason. I had to stay up in the wee hours of the night at times to write my book! It was work, but quite enjoyable and exciting work.

If you could take three books with you to a deserted island, which books would you pick?

I would take the Bible, Charlotte’s Web, and The Giving Tree.

Are you currently working on something? If so, can you tell us more about it?

I’m not currently working on another book, but I am looking forward to becoming CEO of an awesome future internet company. It is a goal and dream that I know I will accomplish because I will be “putting the Law of Attraction to work in my life.”
