Monday Musings #12

Every Monday, I try to give a recap of last week’s events on my blog and writing-related.

1. Academic writing. I’ve got two huge assignments lined up for me, and both have to be finished by August 19th. So I’m trying to pinch in three hours a day, at least, to work on them. Most of my time is dedicated to this, and these deadlines.
2. Updated website. I updated the pages for my picture books and chapter books, and the page for the Mirrorland series. Books added to sidebar and added purchase links.
3. Cover art. The illustrator for the Weirdville series and Valentina series, Noelle Giffin, just got started on the illustrations for Weirdville #2 and #3, and Valentina and the Whackadoodle Witch.
4. Pleasant Dreams.  I wrote a short story for a free YA horror anthology from indie authors. The anthology, titled Pleasant Dreams, will release later this week. Stay tuned!
