Six Sentence Sunday (3)
I’m participating in Six Sentence Sunday this week. I can’t believe how time has flown these last few weeks. How are your WIPs going? Good, I hope! Here are some sentences from my work in progress for January, The Unnaturals.
Here is an excerpt from chapter six:
The moment her eyes meet mine, the world starts spinning, and not in a good way. She has the most peculiar eyes I’ve ever seen. One of them is a deep blue, like the color of the ocean, not where it hits the shores, but in the middle of the ocean, when there’s nothing surrounding you but water. The other is a shining green, the color of lush forests and endless fields of grass. If they matched, two blues or two greens, those eyes would’ve been beautiful. But matching them together created a monstrosity, a mismatched abomination.
