Six Sentence Sunday
Six Sentence Sunday (2)
I’m participating in Six Sentence Sunday with a few sentences of my newest WIP, The Unnaturals. I’m currently at 20k words in this new WIP!
This is a small excerpt from chapter four:
As a sidenote, “Ordinary” is the name of the town the characters live in.
“Miss Duncan, I can, and I will,” Mrs. Delacourt repeats tiredly. “It’s time Ordinary learned to adapt to the future, instead of staying stuck in the past. And revolution, like you know from your history classes last year, starts with you, the young generation of the moment.”
Revolution? So I was the martyr led to slaughter in name of a revolution? I was Marie Antoinette whose head they were about to chop off because she represented an old, forgotten era.
