Monday Musings #4

Every Monday, I will post a quick recap of last week’s events. Feel free to join and/or link your own recap!

• Writing. I wrote 3k in The Ghosts of Dr. Weird, a chapter book I’m working on. I aim for 10k for the first draft, and then an extensive round of edits before I let it rest for a while. I’ve also managed to write 10k in Voices From The Beyond, a true haunting story I’m working on for adults. I’ve been working on Voices for about six months, and this is the first burst of inspiration I’ve had in months, so I’m glad.
• Fractured. As you may have read in my previous post, the publication of Fractured has been postponed till September 2013.
• Editing. I freely admit that I’m not the best editor in the world. I tend to overwrite, use a lot of adjectives and adverbs, etc. So I went to the library to borrow some books about self-editing for fiction writers.
